This beautiful hand turned crochet hook is made from Cross Cut Macassar Ebony with your choice of exotic wood ends and rings. The hook is shaped with a larger handle to relieve stress on the hand and wrist when crocheting. The crochet hook has an Ergonomic shape that fits nicely in the hand.
The Macassar Ebony Yarn Bowls are an example of Macassar Ebony. End Grain will appear much darker then plain cut. Also soaks up a bit more finish then plain cut. the bowls are not part of this listing. Because this hook is handcrafted there will be variation in appearance, grain, size and color. While there are slight variation the basic Ergonomic shape is maintained. No two handcrafted hooks will be the same!

Cross Cut refers to the direction of the grain to the cut of the blade. By cutting the wood this way the hook will show greater variance of patterns, color and some end grain compared to cutting with the grain.
