This YAD is made from WILD ALMOND BURL and KOA (member of the acacia family).
This Yad is great for your study of the torah!
I've used Wild Almond Burl with Koa (Acacia) which have some biblical significance. The ark of the covenant was made of acacia wood and Aaron's staff was made from almond wood. Yad measures 9"-10" in length and 3/4" to 1" in diameter at it's widest point. This is a handcrafted item there will be variations.
