Thin Win Salt and Pepper Mills no. 241 and 242
These Mills are made from Thin Win from Southeast Asia. Heartwood is dark purplish-brown to chocolate brown, with very close and fine black veins. When freshly cut the wood will appear very light but will darken with time.
The two mills stand about 6 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" wide.

These are similar but separate mills. As with all my turnings, they are done by hand. I don't use a duplicator on my lathe. By doing them by hand, this makes them similar, but not the same. There are subtle differences.
