These Mills are made from Bird's Eye Maple. Birdseye is a rare kind of grain pattern or figure resulting from localized distortion in the growth rings.
Heartwood is dense and color ranges from creamy white to reddish brown.
The two mills stand about 6 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" wide.

These are similar but separate mills. As with all my turnings, they are done by hand. I don't use a duplicator on my lathe. By doing them by hand, this makes them similar, but not the same. There are subtle differences.
