Canarywood Salt and Pepper Mills no. and
These Mills are made from Canarywood from South America (from Panama down to southern Brazil) . Heartwood color can vary a fair amount, from a pale yellow-orange to a darker reddish brown, usually with darker streaks throughout. Pale yellow sapwood is sharply demarked from heartwood.
The two mills stand about 6 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" wide.

These are similar but separate mills. As with all my turnings, they are done by hand. I don't use a duplicator on my lathe. By doing them by hand, this makes them similar, but not the same. There are subtle differences.
