I was looking for ergonomic hooks when I first saw these hooks. I have arthritis in my hands and a comfortable hook is important. I have bought a few recommended ergo hooks and borrowed a few to see what I like using. I was so stunned by the beautiful design of the hook and the craftmanship. I splurged on the mother of pearl hook thinking it would end up being a show piece. It turned out to be a delight to crochet with! It feels so good in my hand, and my stitches have improved so much. It is the only hook I use since receiving it. I will eventually need/want other sizes, but for now I am very happy with this beauty. The fact that the hook can be repaired was the deal breaker for me as I have heard of wooden hooks breaking. There is also a selection of metal tips which can be added, but I really wanted at least one of Bryan's fully handcrafted hooks. Yes, you can crochet with about any hook, but good tools are lovely to work with, and why not enjoy the whole experience?

I was not disappointed, another work of art, I have several Nelsonwood hooks and they are all beautiful to look at and very comfortable and they fit perfectly in my hand, the hard part is deciding which hook to order next.

This is just one in my Nelsonwood hook collection. It is however definitely a top favorite. The mother of pearl has a magical glimmer to it. The handle feels smooth to touch and the tip glides well through the stitches. I am using it along with the a purple and lilac hook I also bought in the g hook size to finish a late Mother’s Day blanket for my dear Momma♥️ Thank you Bryan for sharing you talent and as always prompt delivery and fantastic customer service. I’m hooked🥰

I don’t use these hooks personally, but I buy them for my wife, who absolutely loves them. They are beautifully crafted and my wife, who used to suffer hand fatigue and pain, can use these hooks all day long without discomfort. We have now purchased 11 hooks and are satisfied with every item. Phenomenal product and quick delivery.

Great hook, have purchased three hooks so far and fourth was the best. When purchasing wooden or any handmade hooks, always go for the bigger hooks because of price and quality!

When I opened my package and saw this hook it took my breath away. It is simply stunning, Bryan never disappoints, workmanship is stellar and I adore the colours and shine. I have purchased ergonomic hooks from all over the world and none compare. I only want to work with Bryans hooks, I can crochet in comfort and for much longer periods which is very important for me as I have onset arthritisis. I wish I could own one in every colour, I'm certainly working on it ;-)

Absolutely love this hook. I have already been using and it fits so comfortably in my hand. Its smooth to the touch and warms in my hand. The yarn slides over it easily. So far no issues with it causing splitting of yarn, and it hooks the yarn easily. Thank you for a beautiful hook!
